Dog of the month
ADOPTED Hi! My name is Patches. I am an adult female mixed breed. I am very friendly, playful and energetic. When I came to the shelter I was in very poor condition. I was underweight and covered in demadex mange. My skin was in such bad condition that I had scratched my ears raw causing hematomas. Due to this, I am hearing impaired. I am now doing much better and looking for my furever family. They will need to be prepared for a special needs dog.
Dog adoption is now $210.00. This includes spay/neuter, bordatella, distemper, worming, rabies, snap test and ID chip. Do you have room in your home and heart for me??
Cat of the month
Hi! Meet Raisin and Moon Shadow. We are 8 year old DSH brothers. We are looking for our furever home together. We are friendly. Raisin loves to explore, Moon Shadow can be a bit more shy at first. We both love attention! Cat adoption is currently NO CHARGE. This includes their spay/neuter, vaccines, snap test and ID chip. Can we come to your house furever??
Do you have a barn or other area that is in need of an outdoor cat to keep other little critters away? Contact the Shawano County Humane Society. We have feral to semi-feral cats that have been fixed and are in need of outdoor homes to call their own. You will need to complete an adoption application but there is no adoption fee. Please contact us if interested!
